It Is Possible To Get A Yellow Or White Gold Pink Sapphire Ring At A Modest Price

Pink Sapphire Gem Size Selection.

Anyone with a little knowledge of sapphires would tell you that sapphires are or not cheap. This is even more true when it comes to pink sapphire gem stones. However, there is no denying the fact that a yellow or white gold pink sapphire looks simply gorgeous. The RG233 is a great example of how a pink sapphire gem stone ring should be designed and crafted. By restraining the gem size to around 5mm to 6mm, the experts at Kaisilver have managed to produce a pink sapphire gemstone ring that looks good, is durable and yet wears a modest price tag. It is amazing to learn how all this has been achieved with no compromise of material or quality.

The metal weight of this yellow or white gold pink sapphire ring has been tucked away inside the band. By avoiding scooping of metal inside the band, the ring has been made stronger and also more comfortable to wear. The gold weight is almost twice of what other jewelers would provide, and with good reason. Your Kaisilver sapphire ring will last longer and be in better shape as the years go by. When it comes to the gemstone, we ensure that every pink sapphire ring is set with a gem that gives value for what the buyer pays. Since we are not restricted to fixed inventories and have priority access to global gem stone stocks, gem selection is done keeping buyer interest in mind.

The RG233 14k or 18k pink sapphire gemstone ring is designed to make quality pink sapphire rings affordable for a wider range of jewelry buyers. It is a true high end jewel and is crafted by some of the finest jewelry craftsmen in Thailand. Jadeite Is Generally Dyed To Enhance Color. Nephrite Is Also Called Jade

Jadeite Has Tranluscence, Nephrite Is Generally Opaque.

Color Enhancement Of Jadeite. Provides Good Jade At Affordable Price.

The gemological world groups jadeite and nephrite in the category of jade. Jadeite is generally more transluscent as compared to nephrite. Much brighter colors of green can be observed in jadeite as compared to nephrite. The JDN001 jade shown above is jadeite that has been dyed to enhance color. The truth is that more than 80% of the jadeite that is used in jewelry is dyed for color enhancement. The dyeing process increases the color saturation of the stone and also ensures better uniformity of color. The treatment of gems for color and clarity enhancements are widely practised for many gems, not just for jade. 99% of the tanzanite gems that reach the gems and jewelry trade are heated for color enhancement. Over 95% of the emeralds used in jewelry are treated with natural oils to increase lustre and transparency.

So if we are willing to accept the dyeing of jadeite as a normal process, we need to discuss the issue of stability of the color for dyed jade gems. In the first place, we need to understand why dyeing is done for jadeite. To understand this we need to draw a reference to the pricing of jadeite. The JDN001 jadeite gem from Kaisilver has been handpicked and custom cut, it has also gone through a thorough testing process to ensure color stability. The gem is priced at under 10 U.S$ per piece. This is cheap considering the fact that a similar jadeite that is untreated would be priced at around 800 U.S$ to 1,200 U.S$ per piece! So dyed jadeite brings this romantic and soothing gem stone within the reach of many more gem and jewelry lovers.

But the very important thing that you should know is that not all dyeing processes are the same. Gemstone lovers have sometimes being given dyed jadeite that has faded or even changed to a yellowish green color. To ensure that Kaisilver jadeite is stable for color, we have devised some very stringent processes. These are done on every single jadeite that we use or sell. The first step involves checking the gemstone and ensuring that it is infact jade. If this has been proved, the gem is soaked in water for around 48 hours. The jadeite is then taken out and inspected for color change or fade, the water is also inspected to ensure that no water soluble dye has been used to treat the jade. In the next stage, a solution of water and household toilet soap is prepared. The jadeite gemstone is soaked in this water for around 12 hours. This is to simulate a situation where, a buyer could wash hands or even have a bath while wearing the jade ring or other jade jewel. Most of us take around 20 minutes to an hour to have a bath, the 12 hour soak is therefore more than sufficient. If the gem stone passes this phase, a more rigorous test follows. The jade is then kept in the sun for around 6 hours, the test is done to ensure that light and heat exposure from the sun does not cause the color to fade. Jade gems that pass all these testing conditions are selected and included in our stock. Most jewelers do not care to perform any of these checks, the quality of your gemstone can be ensured only by choosing the right jeweler.

Now what if you need an untreated jadeite gem? We can provide this for you too, expect the price to be in the range of 500 U.S$ to 1,200 U.S$ per carat. Such untreated gems will come with a lab certificate that states their authenticity and also the fact that they have not been treated. In the case of untreated jadeite do not expect to find high color uniformity unless the size that you need is in the below 7mm to 8mm category. Even green natural jadeite can show shades of white or brown. Pendants, Making Pendants Make You Feel Good

The Meaning Of Pendants. Using Pendants For Motivation

The Meaning Of Pendants. Using Pendants For Motivation

Using Pendants As A Motivational Factor.

Many pendants come with a historical or religious meaning. The cross pendant for example links the jewel to a religion and followers of that religion feel good and positive when wearing a cross pendant. The Egyptian Ankh pendant similarly has a centuries old tradition and history and this accounts for it’s popularity. You could also wear a  birth stone pendant to get the benefits of wearing a birthstone jewel. But what if you want to feel good wearing a pendant that does not have religious or traditional references. A good example is the MPN01 eagle pendant from Kaisilver.

After surveying around 50 buyers of this Kaisilver custom pendant, the research team came up with some interesting findings. Over 56% of the buyers said that wearing this pendant had a positive influence in their personal and professional lives. This was achieved by associating the characteristics of the eagle with their daily activities. For example, the swift flight of an eagle soaring in the skies was linked to their ambitions. The way that an eagle focuses on it’s prey until the very moment that it actually captures the prey was something that impressed 70% of the buyers who were surveyed. It inspired these human beings to concentrate on their ambitions and targets allowing no distraction to come in the way.

This is the true spirit of wearing any jewel. The rich and powerful kings and queens of yesteryears wore extravagant jewels as a status symbol, often as a show of power and wealth. In todays world jewels can have a meaning that is quiet and subtle. Once you associate a meaning to a jewel, the price tag becomes a secondary issue. So if you decided that an eagle pendant or other jewel would motivate you to achieve your ambitions, a gold or silver pendant would have the same level of meaning. This would make the purchase light on your purse and a larger number of people would be deriving the true benefits wearing pendants and other jewel.

This information was summarized from the pendants online report, you can see the complete report at http://www.pendants-online.com/silver-pendant-eagle-bird-01.htm

Though Iolite Gems Are Very Suitable For Mens Rings, The Gem Is Not Known By Many

Though Iolite Gems Are Very Suitable For Mens Rings, The Gem Is Not Known By Many

Iolite Gems For Mens Rings

The gemstone in a mens ring should be durable, this is because gold or sterling silver men’s rings take much more wear and tear as compared to jewels worn by ladies. If you see the MAN68 mens ring shown above, you will be impressed with the color and clarity of the gemstone. To an inexperienced gemstone or jewelry buyer, the stone can sometimes have a color shade that resembles tanzanite quite closely. Tanzanite ofcourse is a gem stone that is priced several times higher as compared to iolite. So why is it that many jewelry buyers have never heard of iolite? Most jewelers do not offer iolite as an option, this is because it is not easy to find good quality Iolite. This is especially true when it comes to men’s rings as the gem size for mens ring would be fairly large. The prime source for good quality iolite gems is India in a place called Orissa. You can choose a medium viiolet color for the gemstone in your iolite ring, this would appear as shown in the MAN68 ring above. Darker shades of violet iolite can also be found and are quite popular for mens rings. You should get to know more about this impressive gem at http://www.kaisilver.com/mens-ring-iolite-man68-ks.htm

Amethyst, Choosing The Right Shade For Purple Amethyst Gemstones

Best To Stay With Medium Or Darker Purple Amethyst Gems

Best To Stay With Medium Or Darker Purple Amethyst Gems

Purple Amethyst, Choose The Right Color Shade

Purple amethyst gems are available in a few shades of purple. You can classify the color shades of amethyst gemstones into three broad categories. The very pale purple amethyst, the medium purple amethyst and then the amethyst gems with a darker purple color shade. Jewelry buyers are often confused regarding the best purple shade for this gemstone. The AMN-03 amethyst image shown above will help explain the facts. The amethyst on the left can be called a dark purple amethyst, the gem on the right would be a medium purple amethyst gemstone.

When you choose an amethyst gemstone ring or other jewel, stay within the purple shades that fall within these two options. There is a very dark purple amethyst that can also be seen in the gemstone markets. While many gem lovers prefer that very dark purple stone, you should know that it is so very dark that you can hardly see any color in normal light. The medium and dark purple shades shown above would be your best options for amethyst jewelry. At the other end of the spectrum you will find very pale purple amethyst gems too, these would be much lighter than the gem shown on the right. Such gems are just too pale and will almost show no color when mounted in yellow or white gold. Ideally such gems should not be used in jewelry but, their low prices tempts many jewelers to bring them into jewelry applications.

Another important suggestion is to choose amethyst gems without any inclusions. This is possible for gems that are as large as 5 to 6 carats too. It is better to pay a little more and get an eye clean amethyst, than to settle for a gem with inclusions that will be clearly visible even to the naked eye. We have put together an interesting and exclusive collection of amethyst gem stone rings at this link http://www.jewelry.kaijewels.com/amethyst-ring-all-kj.htm Check it out and get an idea of what to demand when buying amethyst gem stone jewelry.
